AOL's Tim Armstrong: Using New Media To Help On & Offline
In New York earlier this week, AOL's Tim Armstrong talked for 15 minutes on how you can use new media to not just help people and make a difference online, but in the physical "offline world" as well. He uses examples from his own community efforts in the video I shot of his "message" below.
The webdoc below shows Tim in action, surrounded by the AOL brand, a tweet about his talk on-site at 140 Conference from an attendee, weaving in his discussion about localizing content and community through Patch.com which he created to address the need for news at a regional level in a way not done effectively by old school newspapers.
