LeWebParis in December

Registerweb190 I went to LeWeb3 in Paris two years ago and loved it. Loic LeMeur, now the driver behind Seesmic, was at Six Apart at the time and it was in its infancy. Even so, he was able to draw major players from Europe, the states and rest of the world. The content was great as was the food. (LeWeb Gets Food & Wine)

No longer in its infancy, more and more players in the world of Web 2.0, social media and technology are traveling to Paris December 9-10, 2008 for a line up that promises stimulating discussion and networking. Plus, its in Paris. Sadly, I'll miss this year's great agenda since I'll be in southern Africa but if you're not anywhere nearly as exotic, buy a ticket, and plan to go. He doesn't charge the inflated prices that many of his American counterparts do for the ride, which means LeWeb can broaden the dialogue.

The agenda for 2008 is up. Be sure to also check out their video.

The following yank journalists and bloggers plan to moderate sessions:

• Michael Arrington, Co-Founder & Editor, TechCrunch
• Steve Gillmor, The Gillmor Gang
• Dan Farber, Editor-in-Chief, CNET News
• Om Malik, Editor-in-Chief, GigaOm
• Jennifer L. Schenker, Correspondent, BusinessWeek
• Robert Scoble, Video Blogger, Fast Company
• Kara Swisher, Co-Executive Editor, AllThingsD.com

Microsoft's Dan’l Lewin is also coming over as is David Weinberger from Harvard's Berkman Center. They'll be talking to Google UK's President of Operations, MySpace's Chris DeWolfe, Matthias Lüfkens from the World Economic Forum, France's Secretary of State, Global Brand VP at Coca-Cola Marc Mathieu, John Buckman, Reid Hoffman, Yossi Vardi, Robin Good, Joichi Ito, Amazon's Werner Vogels, execs from Netlog, Meebo, Facebook, Lookery, Buzzcity, itsmy, WeBud, FING, Orange Labs, and early investors Fred Wilson and Jeff Clavier.
