Xobni Simplifies & Empowers Email
The first morning session at TechCrunch40 on Day 2 has a centralized email and unified messaging theme. And as always, as more and more URLs are taken, we continue to be introduced to names we can't pronounce or spell.
Xobni has taken a clever approach to the widespread email management and overload problem - Xobni is Inbox backwards. I think I might even be able to remember it and perhaps they can get everyone else too as well -- with good marketing and PR that is.
Xobni aims to improve efficiency around email by combining social networks, email and your email history. Its current version is baked in Outlook although they plan to support other email clients in the future.
You can view threaded conversations, automatically find attachments, use emails in social networks, and search email and people. In the future, they plan to support several email accounts across multiple email clients and support IM. Count me in as a beta user when its ready.
