Singularity Summit 2007 Registration Open
The Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence has announced its 2007 Singularity Summit, to be held Saturday and Sunday, September 8th and 9th, 2007, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. The theme is Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity.
From SIAI Executive Director Tyler Emerson, "Advanced AI has the potential to impact every aspect of human life." While I'm not officially involved in the event, I worked with Tyler and Ray Kurzweil on last year's event and remain a fan of their work. Tickets can be purchased online for only $50, which covers your reserved seating for both days, lunches, and the Saturday night reception where you can meet the summit speakers.
