Attendio to Bring Events to You
With Attendio, events you are interested in come to you rather than you have to search for them. You select an event category, the location where you want to find the events and Attendio gives you a personalized list of events in the city you have chosen in the area you care about. You can add friends and celebrities who can give you event recommenations. People can endorse specific events or not.
You can integrate the events into your calendar, kind of like having an RSS reader embedded into your calendar – on your desktop, on your iPod or your cell phone. It also works with NetVibes, Google Calendar and Vista. (Outlook 2007). Given my business, this is right up my alley.
