PR for Non-Profits
I met Art Feinglass on an airplane recently, author of the Public Relations Handbook for Non-profits. While my main focus has always been on for-profits, I have dabbled in non-profits and always find the work more fulfilling.......if only they had budgets to pay for the types of programs you really want to launch.
I'm expecting a copy in the mail, so more on it when I have time to make my way through it - the book pile on the bedside table is getting a little out of control.
The book apparently provides basic guides, checklists and practical step-by-step advice, illustrating concepts with examples and case studies drawn from various campaigns. He covers a variety of fields, including religious, arts, educational and social service organizations.
