CES: My Favorite Designs
At CES every year, it's always a maze of clutter, most of which all blend together. Having gone to this show and events like it for over 15 years, I decided to take a look at some of the products from a design perspective this year. Below are a few of my favorites.
Edifier goes for slick design and lots of options for its customers. (Love their vibrant colors and clean and simple design)
Imada Massage Chairs, which won five consumer electronics honors in 2010 (Design and Engineering showcase). Mighty comfy as well.
Pure Acoustics is not all that original nor is this a design that will knock your socks off, but they win brownie points for even offering colors admidst so many black, white and silver choices
Technocel offers bright colored cases for Blackberries and iPhones, and distributes to northern California Verizon and AT&T stores
Desay's Blueray Disc DVD Player: HDMI 1081 (simple and clean)
Sungale's Digital Album: Model ID801WT
Sweden-based WESC knows all about design. Their products are fashion statements and they started out that way. (stands for WeAretheSuperlativeConspirancy, since 2000). Their entire booth was "hip."
An example of what not to design, unless of course you hide it in your teenage daughter's closet. (what were they thinking?) Sungale's Lamp: Model CD352LD
