San Francisco's Open Studios: Opening Night
San Francisco's open studios kicked into gear last night in SOMA, where people moved from studio to studio meeting artists, viewing art, eating chocolate and grapes and drinking wine.
It's become a tradition every October since I moved to San Francisco and it's one of those events you can quite define as "San Francisco," since the vibe isn't quite like any other city in the world.
Last night, I interviewed artist Stephanie Cunningham, whose work on ballerinas intrigued me. More of my favorites in the coming weeks as the weekends unfold.
