Travel Blog Exchange Event in Chicago
Because the Travel Blog Exchange was holding an event the day after BlogHer, I couldn't resist stopping into the Chicago Cultural Center to hear and learn more.
While I wasn't there for the whole thing, I caught the PR panel, which to my amusement, was not unlike every PR/media panel I've attended over the past twenty years. Really.
It was interesting how the questions are often the same, panel after panel, year after year and it hasn't changed much now that bloggers are part of the mix.
"How do you like to work? How do you like to be contacted? What works for you and what doesn't work? How do you like to work with PR and marketing pros?"
On the panel was Disney's Social Media Director Leanne Jakubowski, Nerds Eye View Pam Mandel, Turner PR's Angela Berardho, Travel Savvy Mom's Jamie Pearson and Kristen Unger from the Chicago Tourism Office.

Chicago -"The Wind City", despite it's name it is one of the world cities that everybody should visit or at least know more about it!
