PR Week Blog Contest is Over
The PR Blog contest you've been reading about here and over on PR Week's site, is finally over. After five rounds, I won the finals.
Thanks to PR Week, Keith O'Brien and hats off to the 31 other bloggers in this online event, many of whom I read regularly and respect. I also discovered new blogs I had not been exposed to before, which I'm now adding to my weekly read.
Troops rallied to support me in countless places I've lived around the world as well as both sides of the country and everywhere in between.
I heard from readers who said they voted while drinking an espresso on their way to work in Luxembourg, from their blackberry at the Olympics in China, from a pub in London, a train in Australia, in the bush in South Africa while on assignment, at a party in Toronto, while at work in Switzerland and Germany, on vacation in the Montana mountains, from Boston's MIT and Harvard University, from networking events in Chicago, Atlanta and Washington DC, hot spots in Virginia, Florida, Texas, Maine, Washington, Vermont, New Hampshire, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Mexico, Fiji, India, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Ireland, Hawaii, Holland, and Austria.
And there was a ton of support from readers in Boston, New York, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, France, England, South Africa and Israel.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
