Send Love to Tom Levine

Tom_levine News to report about someone I consider a dear friend: Tom Levine. Many may know him through his leadership on PopTech, an annual conference in Maine that explores the cutting-edge ideas, emerging technologies and new forces of change that are shaping our future.

Tom was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and sadly due to its location, removal is not an option. He is undergoing aggressive radiation along with chemotherapy and on Thursday, they decided to replace the shunt in his head with a new one on the right side. Apparently, the operation went smoothly and he is recovering at the hospital.

For those of you who have ever had any interaction with Tom, you'll immediately think of a warm engaging smile, authentic eyes and a caring soul. He's an amazing person who always takes the time to listen to someone's story and more importantly absorbs things of substance about them that most people miss.

Now he's sick and needs everyone's love and healing energy. Caring Bridge has a website dedicated to Tom so you can keep track of his progress. It's actually a really great concept. The site has a section for people to submit comments and thoughts, so if you know him, let him know you care.

He needs to hear from as many people as possible right now and send along the silent thoughts too, the ones that say Get Better Soon Tom, We Love You. Or better yet, May Strength and Love be your Guide as an elderly family member once said to me.
