Gathering2.0 On U.S. Intellectual Property System
This week, Gathering2.0, the first online global
community for intellectual property (IP) professionals, organized and hosted two
business roundtable discussions between high-tech business executives and the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
IP business leaders from
more than 20 tech firms, including HP, Intel, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft,
Yahoo!, eBay, gathered to discuss the dynamics of the U.S.
Intellectual Property System, particularly IP modernization, increasing
patent quality and utilizing IP as a business asset.
