Lots of Editorial Changes
There's been a number of new editorial changes lately. It is a refreshing change to see that most of them are about adding new editors rather than newspapers or magazines folding.
Two exceptions: EEPN magazine will shut down after the July issue and its staff will combine with the Electronic Design editorial team and Call Center Magazine will cease print publication with its July issue but will continue to publish online. Beginning in August, the online publication's name will change to ICMI's Customer Management Insight - huh? Clearly, the name must have come out of their labs, not the marketing department. Egads - what a complicated mouthful.
Over at LAPTOP Magazine, Anna Attkisson has been named managing editor, succeeding Anthony Losanno. Attkisson came from Child Magazine. Longtime Network World senior editor Denise Pappalardo has left the magazine.
Michael Biddick will become a contributing editor for both InformationWeek and NetworkComputing.com. Laarni Ragaza has been named labs director and senior editor of PC Magazine and lastly, Chris Baker was promoted to senior editor at WIRED.
