Life in a Digital Goldfish Bowl
The Financial Times this week on what it means today and in the future to have a transparent life -- online. On issues around privacy and transparency, he points out that, "ultimately, users will have to come to their own personal accommodations with these new technologies.
Expectations about rights to privacy will evolve, even as the very definition of what it means to lead a private life will change. Life in a digital goldfish bowl will never be the same – but it need not all be for the worse." No, indeed - life in a digital goldfish bowl will never be the same but it could get a lot more interesting.
