Raul Middon Has Passion
Raul Middon on the TED stage this evening was another emotional presenter. A blind musician, he creates his music with compassion, energy and his lyrics have that important sauce that somehow brings you over the edge. You don't know why. You don't need to. More on him, his philosophy, music and a ton of photos to be posted sometime in the next day or two. For now, you can get a flavor for his music and personality by simply clicking play and turning up the volume. I think you'll be moved.

I thought his performance was magical. It's almost a shame that he was somewhat overshadowed by the higher-profile turns by Paul Simon and Tracy Chapman (which were great also.) But I think Midon may have been the sleeper hit of the conference. I'm off to find some recordings...
