Carolyn Porco on Saturn
Scientist Carolyn Porco brought people to tears with the passion she carried in her voice as she presented images of the first visuals taken from a moon in the outer solar system. With emotion, she talks about Saturn.....we get a journey through Titan.
They initially found a young surface, so while there were some craters, it was dark, it was wet, there was gooey tar-like substance.....they could see the parameter, which showed a potential shoreline. They are still not sure. What they do believe is that it possible that this has enough to sustain human life, for how long and in what condition is obviously unclear. The images were breathtaking.
