Brand New World in Second Life
Taken from BoingBoing today, this is a little creepy. A character has been in his Second Life for so long that he has forgotten.....the video documents this transition in his new virtual life.
He talks about how he could be 'anyone' in his new virtual life as his carbon-based self. In his new world, what he refers to as his 'brave new world,' he can be be tall, short, a muscle man, black, white, a man, a woman. All for a price, he adds.
Machinima documentary, filmmaker, television producer, and multimedia artist Douglas Gayeton shot and produced the below video within Second Life. On his journey, character Molotov Alva encounters furries, cyberpunks, neo-luddites, sex slaves, and the King of the Hobos. Like I said, its a little creepy.
