On Media Sharing & Beyond

Client Sharpcast is on the Under the Radar stage presenting flagship product Sharpcast Photos. Today's Under the Radar event is focused around mobility and rich media content.
CEO Gibu Thomas also talks about Project Hummingbird, which was recently launched on the Web 2.0 stage last week. Sean Wise moderates this panel that includes judges Gabriel Venture Partners, Intel Capital and T-Mobile Venture Fund. Also on the panel is PixPulse, PixSense, and TinyPictures.
PixPulse is a B2B media publishing platform for building private label social networks and delivering media to the web and mobile devices, whereas PixSense is all about photos, video and audio specifically for cell phones. They revenue share with telcos and also make money through royalty and licensing to partners.
TinyPictures, whose Series A is provided by Mohr Davidow Ventures, says they wouldn’t launch a service that is soley about sharing video when asked about video in addition to photos. Their focus is on camera phones, allowing users to share photos, comment on friends, pictures and the ability to browse their friends activities by latest pictures or comments posted.
