Converting Your Vinyls
Reuters on digital music and vinyls. Xitel gets a plug for their INport product, which consists of a cable and converter box that connects your PC to your stereo. It includes computer software to adjust sound levels and cut album sides into tracks once they are transferred.
This has been a huge issue for me as well as so many people I know, so I converted many over and then there were some I simply had to keep....especially for the holidays. I recently ordered an old antique record player so I could play some holiday vinyls while I put my tree up this year. Tradition so to speak and I welcome the scratchy sound that only an old player can capture.....having said that, I want them ALL on my iPod as well, which solutions like this make possible.
