Berkeley Cybersalon with Steven Levy
Tonight's Berkeley Cybersalon was dedicated to Steve Levy's new iPod book: The Perfect Thing: How the iPod Shuffles Commerce, Culture and Coolness. I helped him and other industry illuminaries celebrate his book launch on Friday night as well; he's on the circuit in Silicon Valley, so hopefully we'll hear more buzz about it soon. Michael Gartenberg writes about it here (he has already started reading it).
Promo for the book and its spot on from what I can tell before reading it: designers, inventors, and music listeners will enjoy this book because it captures the essence of how a great music and audio delivery tool – the iPod -- was conceived, built, and sold.
