Wagstaff's Loose Wire Launch
I receive word this week that Jeremy Wagstaff's book Loose Wire is being launched and there's even a party to celebrate -- in Bali, Indonesia. What an ironic note to receive not long after coming back from Central America.
Jeremy Jeremy Jeremy......not only do I love your writing style and think you rock, but how enticing to be invited to Indonesia for a book launch party, a little more exotic than San Francisco's Varnish, which is where social media types have been hosting their bashes of late.
A quick synopsis of his book below and no doubt, many can resonate with the focus of his book.....he starts with a question? Ever get the feeling that technology is taking over your life and not asking you first? Hmmm, anyone relate? I wrote about it twice recently in my Technology Woes post and Another HP Disaster.
Synopsis continued: when you’ve mislaid that important file or can’t connect your new camera, do you just want to hurl your computer out the window? When your kids / friends / grandparents start talking about blogging, podcasting and RSS feeds do you nod as wisely as you can while wrestling with the urge to throw them out the window too?
The bad news is that technology isn’t going away. It will keep creeping into nearly every facet of everyday life. (EVERY FACET, no, no, nooooooo, please not EVERY facet)......since you are unlikely to make the launch party if you are based in the states, check out his blog and book.
