The Vitamix
I broke down and purchased the infamous Vitamix Blender, which touts 'superior performance' for nearly any kind of vegetable or fruit. In other words, you don't have to do all the work - remove the skin, throw it in and its double-powered mechanism takes care of the rest. It should do for the price.
These blenders are used by professional chefs to prepare great tasting smoothies, dips, soups, sauces, pestos, purees, butters, dressings, batters/flour, desserts, beverages, and more. There's even a 'dry blender' option to chop nuts and flour. More on this when it enters my kitchen. (yeah, I'm going to try the veggie/fruit mix - avocado with pineapple with nuts with flax with.....the list is endless what I'm going to create).
I have to admit, I'm more than curious how this thing performs given the comments I've been reading on various websites. Some seem to literally 'worship' this device.
