Mash Up Camp Begins...
The unconference for the uncomputer started this morning at the Mountain View-based Computer History Museum.
David Berlind and Doug Gold's two day mash up camp is comprised of technology enablers, innovators, students, academics, the venture community and includes a sampling of start-ups and big boys like IBM, Yahoo, Google and eBay. See a list of who's confirmed here.
It was an informal mixing, matching and self selection in the morning, meaning someone would raise their hand and say 'I'd like to do a session on X, who's interested?' In some cases, people with related topics might join up and run the session together; in other cases, they'd spin off and do their own thing.
Scott Beale has been snapping away most of the day, so there's bound to be some interesting shots posted to flickr and blogs soon.
