Hollywood Types & PBS
Here's a shot of the PBS crew who was filming at TED for most of the week.
They interviewed various TEDsters and speakers for their upcoming documentary on the conference, including me on the last day. I wondered if my former mother-in-law would notice that I was wearing a pair of earrings she gave me years ago. HA; the odd things that come to our mind when faced with blaring lights and cameras.
Speaking of film, the crew was from LA. There were a few Hollywood types at TED this year, including Meg Ryan who I had the pleasure to talk to on the way out of last night's session.
She appeared to have lost a lot of weight and seemed so slight to me relative to photos and images of her in the past. As always, she was beautiful and had that warm smile that the world finds so endearing. Meg was as tethered to her cell phone as my geek pals back home.
Tony Robbins also showed up -- as an attendee and as a speaker. More on his talk and delivery later.
