Malaysian Blogging
I'm always interested in what countries around the world are doing with blogs, what they're saying and the impact that all of these new conversation are having on their political structure, their economy and their social environment.
Several Malaysian bloggers are joining forces to launch a metablog called BlogsMalaysia.com. It's apparently similar to Tomorrow.sg, which is focused on contributions, but has a team of editors that moderate and edit what comes in.
And check this out, the team of 12 will initially include a mother of 5, an English editor, a supermarket supervisor, and someone who is wheelchair-bound.
I have a soft spot for Malaysia.....what a great country. Did I mention that the food is fabulous too? I actually dodged a plane crash years ago by extending my stay for 'food alone.' Seriously, the food was too good to leave, so I changed my flight.
