San Fran Chronicle on Blogs
Verne Kopytoff has a front page splash on the front page of the Technology & Business section on blogs. Yes, blogs. If you can't access a hard copy, go to www.sfgate.com/business. NewsGator gets a plug.
I was glad to see them attempt to explain what RSS is, since the 'real world' still doesn't have a clue. Can't we come up with a new name?
Here's their definition: RSS is a technology that allows users to pull together feeds from several Web sites in one place. Users who read multiple blogs and news services find it especially convenient. The technology eliminates the need to visit each Web site individually.
Well done! In plain English.
